Dear
reader.
Yeast
infection also known as Candida albicans is an illness many people have without being aware of it. At this point in my life
I’m talking and seeing so many people with health problems. Those health problems are direct or indirectly related
to candida or yeast infection and inspired me to write this article for you. My wonderful results with Oil of Oregano
was my second inspiration to write this article. For more information on Oil of Oregano go to Oil of Oregano.Or order at our convenient Shopping cart
This
article will show you the symptoms and causes of a yeast infection. I will also show you
how to do a very simple home test to find out if you have a yeast infection or not. At the bottom of the page I will
give you some herbal remedies that have proven to be effective treatments for yeast infections.
It
is not that hard to get rid of a yeast infection. It just takes some time and
consistency in following the guidelines.
Candida
Albicans is a yeast that grows like little patches on the mucus membranes when our immune system is down. In the mouth it
is called thrush. It also likes to grow in the vagina. When we are healthy our immune system protects us from yeast overgrowth.
Yeast infection is a sign that our body is out of balance. This means our intestines do not function adequate and lack
the ability in greater or lesser degree to absorb nutrients and eliminate inadequate. There are many symptoms but basically you do not have the right amount of energy to live your life fully. It holds you
back and diminishes your energy ( see yeast infection symptoms).
Some
factors can predict your chances of having candida like: Antibiotics, use of certain medications, graving of sugar and/ of
use of alcohol. Also, if your partner has a yeast infection you will probably have it too, in a lesser degree.
Yeast infection symptoms
There
is a large group of symptoms. Do you have one to three of these symptoms? You may have a yeast infection. Take the home test
as you cn read at the bottom page.
General
symptoms are: tired and low in energy, foggy thinking, fear, depression, anxiety, light headness, arthritis, joint and bone
pains.
Intestinal: cramping, bloating, gas, constipation and/of diarrhea, indigestion,
Food
allergies.
Respiratory tract: Seasonal allergies, colds, asthma, post nasal
drips and coughs.
Skin: Eczema, itching, rashes, fungal infections and acne.
Gynecological tract: Yeast infections, itching, discharge, and
redness, possible endometriosis.
You
most likeley have Candidac/ yeast infection overgrowth. Take your easy home test. Keep reading !
The following factors play a role in the development of a yeast infection.
Antibiotics
Antibiotics
kill friendly intestinal bacteria which leads to yeast overgrowth and which results in “leaky gut syndrome,” .
This is a condition which disturbs the absorption of food particles through the wall of the intestines, direction liver. The
result is disturbed absorption and food sensitivities/ food allergies. The consequence
is that protein passes through the intestinal wall to the liver not completely broken down. This is a cause in the development
of food allergies.
Research
has shown a relationship between breast cancer and overuse of antibiotics/candida.
Estrogen dominance
At age of 35 for women progesterone decreases, and at age 45 for men testosterone decreases. Estrogen for both sexes increases. Also called the aging process or mid- life crisis
or pre/menopause. After pregnancy and end of cycle for women when estrogen levels
tends to go up. Estrogen dominance increases the glucose in mucus, allowing the yeast to multiply. How to balance the hormones.
See Prosperine/ Prosperon for men
Parasites
The
other concern is your intestinal flora. Parasites grow, in your intestines and some kind of parasite even recycles
estrogen. Especially when we are obese and consume foods with high levels of artificial estrogen (meat and milk and plastic
wrapped foods- petroleum products artificial products like creams and shampoos).
Poor
hygiene and reinfection through your partner can play a factor as well.
Testing if you have a yeast
infection or not
1.
There is a simple self test to help you determine
if you have a yeast infection. First thing in the morning, before you put ANYTHING in your mouth, get a clear glass of water.
Better still; leave it by your bed the night before. Work up a bit of saliva, and then spit it into the glass of water. Check
the water every 15 minutes or so for up to one hour. If you have a candida yeast infection, you will see strings (like legs)
traveling down into the water from the saliva floating on the top, or “cloudy” saliva will sink to the bottom
of the glass, or cloudy specks will seem to be suspended in the water. If nothing develops in 30 minutes, you’re probably
Candida/ yeast free.
2.
Eat two cups of kefir (original version). If
you get abdominal cramps and rumbling you most likely have Candida.
What
to do to heal and prevent a yeast infection.
Besides
Oil of Oregano, your yeast infection diet: the right diet can be a big part of your solution.
Avoid
sugar… candida/ yeast overgrowth loves to grow on sugar.
Avoid
alcohol, alcohol contains lots of sugar.
Eat
healthy... organic food, enough water.
Avoid
refined starches: Pasta, white flour products, white breads.
Avoid
greasy foods poly saturated oils.
The
above are all substances for Candida to grow on and increase.
Chew
well, so your saliva can do its job.
Eat
without stress…stress diminshes the digestive enzymes.
Do
not drink with food. This affects your digestion negatively.
Avoid,
if possible, antibiotics. If you can not avoid them take with acidophiles or kefir. Use Oil of Oregano.a natural antibiotic
Kefir
or acidophiles helps to restore 85 % of good bacteria in your system. Many of us seem to have 15 % beneficial bacteria and 85 % bad bacteria in our system. This is a threat to our health. Take a three months
course of daily acidophylus or kefir. At least 3 x a day one tablespoon and it should be kept in the fridge.
Be
sure to not get infected by your partner, use condoms, good hygiene.
Kiss
your friends on the cheek!

And
last: AVOID SUGAR, you do not want to feed your enemy.
What after 6 weeks and the test is still positive?
Good
question. It takes in general 6 months to balance your yeast infection and to work on healing. Sometimes longer sometimes
shorter, depending on:
- The level of severity of overgrowth of the yeast infection.
- The
strength of your immune system. If you have, for example, herpes too you might have to do a two weeks aloe vera ½ cup each
day. Then a 2 weeks Olive leaf tincture treatment of at least 6 drops 3 times a
day, continue on Kefir and or acidophilus.
- Stay away from sugar and cardohydrates.
- Be consistent in your diet and in using your Oil of Oregano and kefir
or acidophilus and testing.
Good
luck and remember- It comes by horse it goes by foot.
